Evolve Yoga offers several different workshops throughout the year. Please check below to see what is coming up next!

Arm Balance Yoga Workshop

 

W O R K S H O P + I N T E N S I V E

Fearlessly break the barrier of your comfort zone and awaken new aspects of what is possible within you.

We will begin this workshop reviewing what inversions and arm balances are, and why we do them in our yoga practice. After a short warm up, you will then be led, step by step, through inversions and arm balances. We will wind down with restorative postures.

  • Date: Sunday, January 20th
  • Time: 11:00am – 1:00pm
  • Cost $25

Please bring your mat, towel and water to practice.

Yoga Workshops FAQ's

What are yoga workshops?

Workshops are intensive studies on a specific subject. Workshops will usually run longer than a typical yoga class to give students the time to immerse themselves in the topic of the workshop. Workshops usually run two or three hours. Some workshop intensives may be as long as a full day or two eight hour days. During the workshop students should expect that there will be a lecture or some time discussing the subject of the workshop in detail. Students will be given the opportunity to ask questions. Workshops are a great way to deepen your understanding of yoga and the many aspects of the practice.

What are the benefits of Yoga workshops?

The benefits of Yoga Workshops are the extra time and attention that is given to the subject of the workshop. When taking a workshop a student will gain information and confidence about the subject of the workshop. Often students are given resource information to further explore the workshop theme or subject. Usually handouts are given with references. A yoga workshop is an opportunity to created dialogue and discussion about a yoga related subject. Questions are asked and answered and the practice and understanding of yoga is deepened by the experience by all participants.
